Yugoslav high jumper. Olympian. Mediterranean Games champion.
He was the best high jumper in Yugoslavia in the 80s. His 2.28 personal best listed as Croatian record after collapsing Yugoslav SR, the mark is still active due to 2024. Represented Yugoslavia at the Los Angeles 1984.
With the break-out of Yugoslav Civil War, he joined Serbian Army to defend Krajina region. Wounded in July 1993, but died in January 1994 in Belgrade, according to Veritas data.
He was AK Slavinoja Osijek club member.
