Biography

Three-time Olympian. 2004 Athens flagbearer for Albania. Selected IOC's Olympic solidarity programme in 2002.

After contested Sydney, Athens and Beijing Games, she qualified to her fourth Olympics for London 2012, but did not start in 400 metres. In 2020, her sample taken from London Games was positive for stanozolol.

Excelled in sprint events, breaks all sprinting records for Albania. Brought first sprint medal to Albania in Mediterranean Games.
