Egyptian sprint champion. She is most medal winning athlete in Arab Championships history with 18 total medals.
Breaks 100 metres national record in 1991, which lasted until 2019. She became first woman in Egypt to break 12, 24 and 54 seconds in respective sprints events from 100 metres to one-lap race.
Her only African medal came in Cairo 1991 where Egyptian 4x100 metres women team breaks 46.79 NR.
