Biography
Two-time Olympian shot putter and national-wide known artist.
Usenik competed mainly in the throwing events during her career until 1961. She won four back-to-back national titles and had a silver medal in Universiade and missing the gold by six centimetres.
She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana and graduated from the school in 1965. She won many awards during her career which lasted more than 50 years as an artist.
