History
European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) is a biannual multisport event which run by European Olympic Committees (EOC) since 1991. Former known as European Youth Olympic Days, EYOF is a type of Youth Olympics for European continent.
Traditionally held in Youth (Under 18) age group, but three editions from 2013 to 2017 were contested in Under 17. The programme expanded through the years as starting with 13 at the beginning and reached 20 events in a full with inclusion of walking and multi disciplines. Nearly all 50 members of EOC were competed latest several editions, including IAAF-banned Russia in 2017 & 2019.
