Burmese long-distance champion. Followed compatriot Sumbwegam's footsteps in 1970s as crowned double distance gold in two SEA Games. Became fourth male Burmese medallist in Asian Games as finished third in 10,000 metres at 1978 edition.
Established several long-standing national records from 5000 metres to marathon.
